Q. what was your role within the group ?
A. My role in the group was to be one of the actors which was very enjoyable because we all worked very well as a group and we all made the experience very memorable for each other. Shanelle was the director and camera person, Sinteyah was my co-star and he also helped Shanelle direct the task.

Q. what aspect of the video sequence were you pleased with ?
A. I was very pleased with the end of the video, where I walk off and leave sinntiar on his own looking very sorry for himself and you have a black out, while you hear the acoustic version of 'Katie Perry's I kissed a girl'. I believe that the end of this scene really showed how most boys would feel if they found out the girl they loved never really loved them.

Q. What problems did you encounter ?
A. For me I found it difficult to maintain a straight face while filming which I assumed made it difficult for the other actor an for the director (who was shanelle) to get the shot she wanted straight away. We also had problem with people walk in front of the camera while we were filming because they didn't know what was happening at that point in time, also people were opening and closing door near by which created a lot of back ground noise.

Q. How did you resolve these problem ?
A. To resolve this problem I had to really focus and concentrate, we had to wait until everyone was either in class or was on break to start filming again. We also kept the doors open that was making noise so that before people got through the door they would notice that there was filming happening and so that people would leave the door to slam as they go through it.

Q. What new skills did you develop ?
A. The Skills that I believe I developed was my team work because I knew that I wasn't just doing it for me but for the whole group to pass this course and be confident that we did the work to the best of our ability. I also got a lot of experience with working with my group and understanding how they work.

Q.How could you improve your project?
A. I believe that we worked to the best of our abilities but from the feed back we got from our peers we need to make the situation more awkward and realistic to how people think they would react to the situation.

Q.If you were to repeat the task, what would you do differently ?
A. If we were to repeat this task the most I think we should do is think deeply about the topic of which we addressed and how people would react to that kind of rejection emotionally.

This is my second movie analysis, the movie is called 'se7en' and its a american thriller.

I just finished watching the first 3-4 minutes of the movie 'seven', it was directed by David Fincher and produced by Arnold Kopelson and Phyllis Carlyle. It is distributed by new Line Cinema which is one of the studios involved in producing 'the rite'. in the opening of this movie one of the main characters wake up out of his bed and starts getting ready for the day ahead, the character is shown to be really organized this is shown by the way he lays out the clothing he's going to wear and the objects he needs for the day ahead. after see the character get ready you get a close up shot of a dead body. through out the whole thing the lighting is really dark and you don't really get to see the setting all you know is that the character gets ready in his home and the body was found in a house which is also dark. the sound in the opening of this movie is natural
diegetic sound, keeping the movie natural and simple.

This is my first movie analysis, the movie is called 'The rite' and its a thriller horror.

The first movie I will be looking at is 'The Rite' 2011, directed by Mikael Hafstrom and Produced by Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson based on the book 'The Rite: the making of  a modern exorcist' by Matt Baglio. It was distributed by Warner Bros and released on the January 28th 2011. The first three minutes of this film shows a character who I assume is one of the main characters, at the beginning this character is demonstrating their job. This demonstration creates this atmosphere and this atmosphere give the audience a feel of what kind of genre it is (which is thriller horror), it also starts off with rhetorical questions so that it can get the audience members thinking and it has quotes from the highest power in the Christian church. It then fades in to a white screen where there's a extreme close up of doctors equipment and the room of which this equipment is in is well light with artificial light. this extreme close up pans out to reveal the equipment ant the setting.

This is one of the promotional poster that were distributed to the public couple months before the movie was released. The main image is Anthony Hopkins a very well known actor (which attracts the public to go see this movie because of they know him as a very good actor and well known for his skills in thrillers e.g as Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs)

This is the trailer for the movie, this trailer creates a different atmosphere to the opening scene. The opening created a atmosphere of a thriller and natural death but on a other hand it gave a hint of a biblical atmosphere, this is done when they character takes a look at the dead lady on his slab with a devil tattoo on her leg. the camera stays on the tattoo for a while so that the audience see what the character sees. compared to the trailer where the audience gets a biblical view of the movie, the trailer shows a young girl who is possessed by a demon taking a fancy to the character from the opening scene. if you watch the trailer before you see the opening scene you might be disappointed by the opening scene.
